Training on diseases detection concludes

Chandel, July 24 2013:
The series of State-wide one-day-long district level grass root workers' training programme on diseases detection and reporting organized by Delhi Unit of FAO, GOI in collaboration with the State Govt.of Manipur concluded with the last training held at Chandel DRDA Conference Hall today.
The training held across the State with the main objective of making aware the grass root workers, community animal health workers, community leaders of the respective district in detection and reporting HPA I with the help of the concerned district veterinary officers began since July 17.After a series of day-long training programme had been organized in all the district head quarters of the state namely Imphal East, Imphal West, Bishenpur, Thoubal, Ukhrul, Senapati, Tamenglong, Churachandpur, the last one was held at Chandel district today.
Several community leaders, community animal health workers and several others of social activist attended in the training programme held at the DRDA conference Hall, Chandel, with District Veterinary Officer Dr Y Rajendra Singh and Principal Investigator of State Disease Investigation, Nodal Officer Bird Flu Dr Ng Ibotombi as resource persons.
Joint Commissioner, GOI Dr A.B.Negi, who is on deputation with FAO of United Nation as Observer of the training, was also present on the occasion.
