Noney, March 16 2023: Noney Battalion of Jwalamukhi Sector Assam Rifles organised a "Free Medical Camp" at Marangching Part 5 in Noney district to aid the inhabitants on Thursday.

Keeping in mind the problems faced by villagers in remote areas and common morbidities affecting the local populace, Noney bat talion organised a free medical camp to provide medical assistance and distributed medicines to the villagers at Marangching-V .

The camp commenced with an informative lecture where locals were enlightened on basic healthcare issues including precautions against viral diseases as well as importance of hygiene and sanitation for maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

A total of 94 civilians, in eluding 33 females and 35 children were given treat ment and medicines distrib uted.

the chairman along with secretary of the village conveyed their regards and appreciated the initiative and effort of the battalion in organising and smooth conduct of medical camp.
