Monitoring Cell appeals for peaceful MUSU election

Imphal, November 11 2014:
In view of the election for recently revived Manipur University Students' Union to be held on Wednesday, the Monitoring Cell of the College & Higher secondary School Students' Union Election 2014-15 has appealed to the students of Manipur University to cast their votes in a peaceful manner.
A statement of the Monitoring Cell called upon the students to avoid any communal bias in taking part in the MUSU election, while urging all concerned not to use any type of alcohol, drugs etc.
during and after election.
It also sought cooperation from the MUSU Revival Demand Committee to maintain strict vigilance on the matter.
