Activist donates Rs 1 lac to PCF Lamlai

Political activist Sapam Kangleipal Meitei extended a monetary assistance of Rs 1 lakh to People's Care Fund (PCF), Lamlai with the hope of reviving the economy of Lamlai AC, which has been ravaged by the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to a press release issued by Lamlai Mapari Thougal Lup general secretary Laishram Bobishana, concerted efforts are needed to revive the socio-politico-economic condition of Lamlai AC which has been left impaired by the pandemic.
The situation was further worsened with the disqualification of its MLA.
As such, PCF Lamlai has been taking up activities in this regard including medical assistance and others, he said while assuring of setting up a hospital in the constituency by 2023 to offer better health care services to the people.
Appreciating all those who have extended support to the PCF Lamlai, namely Emmanuel English Academy Yaingangpokpi founder secretary Salam Sundar, social worker Waikhom Makesh of Seijang, Ningombam Chanu Premila of Yaingangpokpi and Pungdongbam ex-pradhan Irungbam Mabi; Bobishana assured of continuing to assist the people including local clubs, Meira Paibi associations and Village Development Committees in setting up a village level home isolation centre and all those affected by the pandemic.
