Essential items distributed, Royal Riders donates to CM CRF

Imphal, July 07 2021:
All Manipur United Clubs' Organisation (AMUCO) along with All Manipur Women's Voluntary Association (AMAWOVA) and All Manipur Manpower Upliftment Centre (AMMUC) extended edible items to 235 households affected by Covid-19 on Wednesday.
In a release, AMUCO general secretary MM Thambou informed that the items were also provided to 80 women vendors of three Kha-wairamband Keithel as well as Kwakeithel and Kongba Keithel.
The organisation also provided edibles to some women vendors and daily wage earners in Hiyangthang, Samurou and Komlakhong area under Imphal West as well as in Langmeidong, Thounao-jam and Elang Khangpokpi in Kakching district and Toubul under Bishnupur district.
It also provided relief items to 48 families at Sekmaijin Thongam and 33 at Wabagai Thingel.
AMUCO has so far provided relief items to 5642 Covid-19 affected households so far, the secretary said.
Meanwhile, Indian Red Cross Society Imphal East District Branch has provided face masks and hand sanitizers to ASHA workers of Alamat, Bashikhong, Keirao Makting, Yairipok Yambem and Andro Primary Health Centres.
The distribution was attended by the branch chairman Narendra Ningomba, members Laishram Kuber Meitei, Tokpam Jinesh, L Rajesh, A Nabachandra and Dr Sunil Senjam among others.
On the other hand, Royal Riders Manipur donated Rs 1 lakh to Chief Minister's Covid 19 Relief Fund so as to aid the government in its combat against the pandemic.
The Riders also assured of extending all possible help to the government in fighting Covid-19 pandemic.
