One day career guidance seminar organised

Bungmi Association for Community Empowerment & Leadership (BACEL) and Monsang Pantha Youth and Cultural Club (MPYCC) jointly conducted a one-day Career Guidance seminar under the theme 'The future depends on what you do today' at Monsang Pantha village community hall for the students of class IX to XII standard of Monsang Pantha village on Sunday.
The programme, which was the first of its kind organised by BACEL in collaboration MPYCC was moderated by BACEL member Ts Simsim with Anuj Tiwari, Ng Johnson, Monsang Pantha village chief Ng Vincent, reverend sister Angela SABS and St Peter's Parish Monsang Pantha and assistant parish priest reverend father Augustine the as resource persons.
Speaking at the programme, software engineer Anuj Tiwari explained to the students about various career opportunities and advised the students to understand themselves first in terms of their interest and abilities and make decisions accordingly while choosing a career.
On the other hand, Ng Vincent advised the student to be prepared for the future and cautioned that as life is full of challenges one must work hard from to become successful in life.
Speaking at the event, Reverend sister Angela SABS stressed on the need for spiritual development in the life of students and also called upon the student to be open and seek guidance from elders and keep learning.
Meanwhile, reverend father Augustine counselled the students to have a spirit of competitive mindset while conveying that they must have interest in their subject, study hard, listen to others and seek guidance and be responsible and obedient.
The seminar participated by around 60 students was also attended by Monsang Pantha village khulaa Sh Micky Victor, MPYCC president Ng Peter Salim, BACEL president Ng Rameson, vice president Ts Warshing, Holy Cross Catholic Church Monsang Pantha village local catechist Ng Johnson, Women Development Organisation Monsang Pantha president Ng Barbara, Monsang Pantha women church leader Ts Martha and others.
