NPF leaders call for strengthening party in state

Senapati, October 17 2021:
Naga People's Front (NPF) conducted a one-day political awareness programme with party's Karong AC unit hosting the event at Purul Rasha Hall on Saturday.
In his address, NPF MLA K Leishiyo, who is also chairman of Hill Areas committee (HAC), highlighted importance of HAC Bill 2021 and strongly advocated tabling and discussion on the same Bill in the state assembly for the benefit of hill people.
He said the HAC Bill is within the provision of constitution and never unconstitutional.
Speaking on the occasion, NPF general secretary Neiko Lhousa reminded that true to its motto "Fide non armies" one should not forget to win somebody's heart by faith and not force.
He emphasised the need of peaceful conduct of election and to win it in good faith.
NPF Manipur working president Robert T Maram briefed the gathering about the genesis of NPF and its inception in Manipur.
NPF Manipur women wing president K fienya Lirina, former MLA Dr V Alexander Pao, ADC Senapati ex-chairman ML Markson and NPF Senapati president Th Soni Matthew also addressed the gathering and stressed the need to strengthen the party with the election in Manipur nearing.
The programme was attended by NPF Senapati executive, NPF's Senapati ADC.members, president and secretary of Mao and Tadubi AC units, Karong Kendra village authority, youth president and secretary, women president and secretary, social workers/public leaders and well-wishers.
