Edibles distributed ahead of Eid festival

Imphal, July 17 2021:
In connection with Eid ul-Zuha festival which falls on July 21, political activist Lamyanba Eepu distributed edible items to 1000 Muslim households in Kshetrigao assembly constituency as well as fertilizers at subsidized rate to the farmers on Saturday.
He also extended Eid greetings and wished for peaceful co-existence and communal harmony in the state.
Meanwhile, Arunkumar Thangjam, who preparing to contest the upcoming assembly election from Wangkhei AC, distributed edibles and other items to around 1400 Mulsim households in the constituency on Saturday.
He also wished for the festival to bring an end of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Social Worker and intending BJP candidate Kharibam Jivan of Wangkhem AC also extended warm greetings to the Muslim community on occasion of Eid-Ul-Adha festival.
While distributing edibles to the people of the constituency in connection with the festival, the social worker wished for the festival to mark the end of the pandemic.
He then appealed to the people to get vaccinated as soon as possible and assured of extending all possible help in the future.
Political activist Sakir Ahmed also distributed edibles to 215 households in Maantak village of Wabagai AC through the village chief on Saturday.
He also assured of extending all possible help in the future.
On the other-hand, social worker Heisnam Subash, who is preparing to contest the next general election from Khurai assembly constituency, honoured Muslim families of Khurai in connection with upcoming Eid-Ul-Azha festival and donated essential items.
Deeply concerned over suffering of the people due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the social worker also prayed for returning of normalcy and uprooting the virus from the state with the coming of the festival of the Muslim community centred on sacrifice.
