Dengue positive cases in Moreh reach 22

Moreh, July 02 2022:
With the detection four more cases, the total number of Dengue positive people in different localities of Moreh has reached 22, including the nine years old.

Among the new cases include Kuki Khanglai Lompi Moreh unit president Amos Haokip of Moreh Ward No 3 Phaicham Veng.
Amos was confirmed of contracting the disease after his blood sample was tested at KRSNAA Lab, Moreh.
He is currently undergoing treatment at the isolation ward of Moreh sub-divisional hospital.
Other fresh cases include a three years old girl from L Youjang village and she too is undergoing treatment at the isolation ward of Moreh sub-divisional hospital.
Another positive case detected at KRSNAA Lab hailing from Phaicham Veng opted to undergo treatment at home as the patient showed no signs of fever.
Amos informed media persons that he got no medicines free of cost from Moreh sub-divisional hospital but thanked pharmacy of the hospital for providing medicines to patients at very cheap price.
Mention may be made that a total of 77 blood-samples were collected from Chwangphai, T Tonglhang, D Khonomphai and Chanou villages following the demise of a nine years old child from T Tonglhang village.
When blood samples collected on June 24 and 25 were tested at RIMS, 18 were found positive of Dengue and four new cases were detected at KRSNAA Lab, Moreh.
