KUM, AMMIK, STS condole deaths

Kabui Union Manipur (KUM) has expressed deep condolences on the untimely demise of noted Kabui citizen PG Makuningpou, who passed away on Saturday.
He was 79 years old.
In a release, president Dr K Heera Kabui stated that a condolence meeting was held at KUM office, Mahabali Kabui village on Sunday and those present prayed to 'Apou Raa Gang gi' for peaceful rest of the departed soul.
The meeting also shared the grief of the bereaved family, it added.
Meanwhile, AMMIK Bishnupur Centre has extended its condolences over the sudden demise of AIR Imphal lyricist and its lifetime member Hamom Herachandra.
In a condolence meeting on Sunday presided over by its president Th Swarankumar, the gathering observed a two minute silence as a mark of respect to the departed soul, while sharing the grief of the bereaved family, said a release.
On the other hand, Sirti Thiimjiitam Sourkhe (STS/Monsang Naga Students' Union), Chandel district mourned the demise of its former vice president Ng Babilon, husband of Kh Ningtin Monsang of Japhou village, Chandel), who passed away on Sunday at his residence.
In a condolence message, STS president NG Lawrence remembered Babilon as truthful person with a golden heart, respected and admired by his colleagues.
STS also conveyed solidarity to the bereaved family and prayed to the almighty for peaceful riposte of the departed soul.
