Relief items extended to police, needy people

Imphal, June 13 2021:
In addition to organising awareness campaign, Manipur State Bharat Scouts and Guides, COVID-19 Task Force distributed hand sanitizers, gloves and surgical masks to police personnel deployed in different parts of Imphal East and Imphal West districts on Sunday.
The task force handed over the said items to police personnel at Palace Gate, Minuthong, Lamlong Bazar, Lairikyengbam Leikai, Ching- meirong Khongnang Karak, Sangakpham, Kangla Gate, Ima Keithel, Samumakhong, Singjamei Chingamathak, Singjamei Thong, Porompat, Ayangpali road, Wahengbam Leikai, in front of CM Gate and Thangmeiband Sinam Leikai.
As a part of Seva Hi Sangathan-II, BJP Kishan Morcha Manipur along with Environment Protect Association, Khonghampat (EPAK) distributed relief items including face masks, oximeter, hand sanitizers and also tree saplings while BJP Kishan Morcha VP and medical cell convenor Dr Ksh Kala continued to extend aid to people in containment zones.
He handed over edible items to family of a scribe at Keibi Heikak Mapal which has been declared as containment zone.
Imphal West adhyaksha Rk Taruni also arranged dinner for Covid-19 positive patients residing in Community Home Isolation Centre set up at Pitambara English School, Kwakeithel Heinou Khongnembi.
Meanwhile, RK Fortune Developer Pvt Ltd distributed edible items to 990 households in Takyel Kolom Leikai and Sangaiprou which have been affected by the pandemic.
Kyamgei GP ward number 8 member Nameirakpam Hera- mot distributed edible items to households in his ward.
Yengkhom Sarantchandra and his wife Yendrembam Sanatombi of Kakching Turel Wangma also distributed edible items to 32 households of Kakching ward no.5 which have been notified as containment zone as Yambem GP pradhan Sanabam Bimol handed over edibles to every family in Yairipok Yambem which is under the GP .
