Imphal, November 27 2020:
Democratic Students' Alliance of Manipur (DESAM) said they will take active part in the 'Clean Naorem Birahari College Campaign' started by the students of the college demanding a proper governing body in the college.
A statement issued by DESAM said that it was necessary for an educational institute to function properly despite the pandemic, however it was really unfortunate that Naorem Birahari College has not been functioning properly due to the absence of a governing body.
The absence of a governing body has made it impossible to solve various discrepancies and problems in the college.
DESAM also sought the attention of relevant authorities on the matter.
