MP Sanajaoba distributes solar lamps

Solar lamps sanctioned as MP's quota of Rajya Sabha MP Leishemba Sanajaoba have been distributed for installation at different places of the state including at historical sites.
For the first phase, the solar lamps were distributed for installation at four sites including historical sites located both in the hills and the valley during a simple function held on Saturday at Sana Konung (Royal Palace).
During the distribution function, MP Leishemba Sanajaoba said the 100 solar lamps are sanctioned under the MP's every year.
These solar lamps will be installed at important places of the state including at historical sites and this has been first phase of distribution.
Further distribution will be made in phase wise manner, he added.
Three of the solar lamps distributed on Saturday will be installed at Maharaj Gambhir Singh memorial site at Canchipur, two at Thangal General memorial site in Imphal and five at Haipou Jadonang memorial site at Kambiron, Tamenglong.
Other solar lamps will be installed at the twin statues of love located at Hongmana (Khongbal), a Tangkhul village; Peace and Unity Park constructed in memory of Meetei script proponent (late) Chingsubam Akaba at Wakha.
On the other hand, the Rajya Sabha MP presented hand sanitizers, face masks and hand gloves to medical staff of Health and Wellness Centre, Sangaipat under Yaiskul assembly constituency.
He distributed the items before leaving for New Delhi to join the Monsoon session of Parliament to be held from July 19 to August 13 .
