Awareness programme on NSIC schemes observed

A one-day seminar cum awareness programme on National Small Industries Co-operation Schemes jointly organized by National Small Industries Co-operation Limited and Innovative Youth Society was held today at Yaiphal Lamjing Lup Ground at Pishum Ningom Leikai, Imphal, today.
.SJoykumar Singh, deputy director, Food Processing Industries, L.Haridas Singh, retired assistant director, MSME, Y.Raghumani Singh, general manager, DIC Chandel and P.Loken Singh, vice-president, Indian Council of Small Industries, Kolkata attended as chief guest, president and guests of honour respectively during the awareness programme.
Speaking at the function as chief guest, S.Joykumar expressed that food has been one of the vital products which require for survival of one and all in this world.
Out of 100 percent, 60 to 70 percent of income earned by every single person was invested in kitchen for day to day survival only.
These expenditures are quite necessary to invest for both rich and poor families of every household to gain nutritious foods for a healthy life.
He further continued that, apart from earning income with government job, nowadays, income can also be easily earn by working at home by producing fruit pickles and the same can be generated by forming self help group with the help from the schemes provided by ministry of food processing from time to time.
