The Bachelor of Education (B Ed) Department of S Kula Women's College has been in a state of neglect.

Addressing a press meet at DESAM's office here on Tuesday, Edison recounted that the College once had a governing body before it was absorbed by the government.
After approval was given for opening a B Ed course in the college, the B Ed department has been working till date.
However, the College recently stated that the department was not under its purview.
The college listed the department as if it was not even present inside the campus.
At present, 50 trainees of the department studying in 3rd semester are unable to undergo the admission process, while another 50 trainees in 1st Semester, who after admission attended some offline classes, have been neglected.
Edision continued that the students were admitted to the department after undergoing the due entrance test following the issuance of admission notification.
The online classes for 1st Semester trainees commenced from September 1, which was followed with offline classes from November 11 to 15 .
However, they were pushed away the next day as if they had np connection with the college.
