National seminar held

Don Bosco College IQAC (Internal Quality Assurance Cell) has conducted a two days National seminar on the theme "A performance indicators of teaching, learning in higher education" from February 15 to 16, 2019 .
The seminar, which was sponsored by NAAC, was attended by over 350 students and staff from the colleges of North East like Christian Asufii College, Mao; Mt Everest College, Senapati; Mt Pisgah College, Senapati; Don Bosco College, Kohima and Salesian College, Dimapur.
The seminar was inaugurated by W Malemnganba Chenglei, Director of Higher Education, GoM while the keynote address was given by Rev Fr Gregory Thaddeus SDB, Principal, Don Bosco College, Yelagiri Hills.
The ten technical sessions conducted as a part of the seminar on the themes like "Challenge of OBE in Indian Higher Education System" presented by Rev Fr Gregory Thaddeus SDB and moderated by Naorem Sadajit Singh; "Learning Indicator: Analysing through social lens" presented by Dr Mamta Lukram and moderated by Rev Fr Dr KO Sebastian; "Flipping the classroom: Redefining the education for the next generation" presented by Jacob Ponnudurai and moderated by Dr Mamta Lukram and "Credibility of teachers: Issues and probable solution" by Fr Dr Johny Jose, Kerala among others, made the floor very vibrant and enthusiastic through their explanation.
The valedictory function of the seminar was attended by Fr Dr KO Sebastian Fr Roy Goerge (Coordinator of IQAC) and Dr Anthony Kaba (IQAC member) among others.
