Two month training programme for Manipur Public Service Commission (MPSC) was inaugurated at State Academy Training, Government of Manipur, Takyel Pat at on Tuesday.
Addressing the participants, Moses Chalai, Principal Secretary Cooperative, said public servants, who entered public service, to serve Manipur by holding office of authority should work with dedication and selflessness in discharge of duties.
Honesty and integrity in service is paramount and development can only be brought about through the relationship between the department and the citizenry, observed M Harekrishna, Addl.

Explaining the rational of organizing the training programme, Ng Uttam, Deputy Director State Academy Training said the programme will enhance the efficacy of public servants and the trainees will visit villages to familiarize themselves with the realities.
At the end of the training a report will be prepared addressing the question on how to solve underdevelopment of villages, added Uttam.
Public servants will undergo their training under the supervision of Head Quarter and MCS will train at Institute of Secretariat Training and Management, New Delhi, outlined Uttam.
