RIMS starts 24-hrs casualty service

Imphal, January 28 2015:
For the convenience of the people needing emergency services, the casualty ward of Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) at Lamphelpat has started round the clock service.
To ensure smooth function of the ward, a doctor who is no less than in the rank of an assistant professor from each clinical department has also been put on duty in the casualty till 8 pm daily in the casualty and RIMS authority has issued an order explaining that doctors who should be on duty till 8 pm at the casualty ward should be those who were on OPD duty on that particular day.
