Imphal, January 28 2014:
The JAC formed in connection with the missing case of a 10-year-old girl from Chandonpokpi in Bishnupur district has condemned the police for their inaction in finding the whereabouts of the missing girl.
Laishram Sumila (10) went missing from home on January 22 after she ventured out to bring back cattle from a nearby field.
Talking to media persons at Manipur Press Club here today, Vice Chairman of the JAC Leishangthem Ongbi Indubala said that the family members have filed a missing report to Kumbi Police Station, but so far the police have not registered even an FIR to trace the whereabouts of the missing girl.
The JAC would launch intense agitations if the State authorities do not help to find out the missing girl at the earliest.
