In continuation of the movement, STDCM in association with Nambul Brink Cultural Association and Pumsubam Leikai Women's Welfare Association organised a sit-in protest at Takyel Khongbal Maning Leikai on Tuesday.
Speaking at the protest site, STDCM youth wing convenor N Edison decried the government for not taking up any steps towards fulfilling the ST demand even after 33 days of protest.

Informing that that the ongoing sit-in protest will continue till October mid after which STDCM will consult the public for taking a different course of the movement, he appealed to the people of the state to support the movement.
