ATBA fetes Disabled Commissioner

All Tribal Blind Association (ATBA) Chandel District today felicitated L.Ibomcha Singh on his appointment as the State Disabled Commissioner in a function held at Mission Blind School, Heikakpokpi village in Chandel district.
The felicitation function was attended by ST.
Nunghlung Victor, MLA of 41-Chandel A/C as Chief Guest while Ws.
Kanral, President of Chandel Naga People's Organization and M.Chaoba Singh, Former District Social Welfare Officer, Chandel as Guests of Honour.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA ST.
Nunghlung Victor said that we must not neglect and ignore the differently abled persons.
Rather, every individual, organisation as well as the government should extend their helping hands to show that there is a place for the differently disabled in the society.
Otherwise, they may develop negative thoughts in their mind.
Apart from assuring to extend possible assistance, the MLA further said that the differently abled persons should also co-operate one another and work together as a team in order to bring about development and prosperity not only among themselves but also in the society.

Nunghlung Victor donated 3 bags of rice, 1 bag of Sugar and Rs.5000 in cash while Ws.
Kanral, President of Chandel Naga Peoples Organization donated one bag of rice and some kgs of Dal as well as sweets to the Mission Blind School.
