THE SHARMILA Kanba Lup undergoing relay hunger strike since December 10 has threatened to intensify their agitations decrying government remaining silent even though the stir entered four day today and government inaction towards repealing AFSPA act despite Sharmila's eight-year of fasting.
Convener of the lup Janaki said as government has no mood to look into the demand for repeal of AFSPA and as a part of intensified form of stir they will start launching door to door campaign on Sharmila cause.
Recalling that Sharmila has been unto death hunger strike demanding repeal of AFSPA for the last eight year since the incident of killing of 10 civilians by the troops of Assam Rifles at Malom, she said for such a long time government is remaining in mute on repeal of AFSPA.On the other hand, on the fourth day of the relay hunger strike carrying out at Porompat PDA complex, women coming from different parts of the state like Wangoi Laiphrakpam.
Iram Shiphai, Wangoi Khaidem, Leishangthem Kabui Khul etc.
