Covid alert sounded ahead of Meeyamgi Numit

Thoubal district administration is all set for conduct of "Meeyamgi Numit" on July 15 at the DC's office complex from 9:30 am onwards.
"A dedicated Meeyamgi Numit Cell" will be opened by the district administration for smooth functioning and better facilitation & coordination.
For this a dedicated email ID has been made functional and one can send their grievances to [email protected] three days ahead of every third Friday every month.
On the days Meeyamgi Numit events are held, DLOs of various departments will be present along with necessary preparation and specific assistance.
They will settle or dispose the grievances at the spot itself if possible.
Certain public services that can be delivered on the day will be arranged by the departments concerned.
They may include various beneficiary-oriented schemes like CMHT, PMJAY, old age pension and disability related benefits.
Thoubal DC A Subhash Singh said that people of Thoubal should use the forum to address their grievances and submit their suggestion.
He also suggested that people, who will be coming on Friday for Meeyamgi Numit, to submit their grievances in writ ing (on a plain paper) if possible, along with necessary documents so that the officials can process the matter in a speedy manner.
Meeyamgi Numit will start in the district from 9:30 am and public can register themselves from 8:30 am till 11:30 am on the same day.
He also urged the public to remain vigilant in the wake of rising Covid cases in the state.
Precautionary measures should be strictly followed to prevent the spread of the disease in public places and protocol prescribed by the health department like wearing mask, washing hands frequently using soap and hand-wash, using sanitiser, and maintaining social distance in public places should be followed, he said.
Meeyamgi Numit will be held on every third Friday and if it happens to be a general holiday then it would be conducted on previous working day.
Meeyamgi Numit is a service platform to address the grievances of people initiated by chief minister N Biren Singh on May 15, 2017 .
