Search for vectors continues in Moreh, Kakching, Jiri

Moreh, July 11 2021:
At least one Covid-19 positive case was detected during a House-to-House Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) carried out by a medical team with the help of Moreh Police personnel at Moreh Ward No.3 Morning Bazar on Sunday.
The House-to-House RAT testing had commenced from Saturday under the aegis of Tengnoupal district administration and District Health Society.
Monitored by Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dr Lamkhoneng Haokip, District Nodal Officer Dr Cecil Singh and District Surveillance Officer (DSO) Dr Luckson Gangmei, the test was conducted on Saturday at Kotlenphai Village and Molnoi Village, wherein 97 people were tested.
During the testing carried out on Sunday, 64 people were tested of which one tested positive for Covid-19.Moreh police personnel maintained strict security perimeter while the House-to-House testing was being carried out.
KAKCHING: A house to house Covid testing drive was conducted in some parts of Kakching Chumnang Leikai on Sunday during which 240 people underwent testing.
Four members of a family including a two-year boy were found positive for Covid-19 during the drive.
JIRIBAM: House-to-house Covid-19 testing commenced in Jiribam district under the supervision of Jiribam district administration and chief medical officer (CMO) on Saturday.
House-to-house testing was carried out at Lakhipur Ward number 9 and Chandrapur Ward number 8 on Sunday.
According to CMO Jiribam, a team of district medical department tested around 80 persons for Covid-19 during the house-to-house testing.
However, no one was found positive for the infectious disease.
