The final electoral rolls of all 60 Assembly Constituencies of the State have been published today and the total number of electors has reached 19,15,243 .
According to an official source, as per the schedule fixed by the Election Commission of India (ECI), the final photo electoral rolls of all 60 Assembly Constituencies of the State have been published by the Electoral Registration Officers (ERO)/ SDOs concerned.
As per the final photo electoral roll 2018, which was published with January 1 as the qualifying date, the total number of electors in Manipur has reached 19,15,243, an extra 21,500 electors over that of the previous year.
Out of the total number of electors, 9,32,791 are males and 9,82,452 are females or 1000 male electors for every 1053 female electors when viewed per gender ratio.
The elector population ratio is 56.45 which shows that out of every 100 people of the State, only 56 are electors.
Last year, the final photo electoral roll of the State was 18,93,743, out of which 9,25,431 were males and 9,68,312 were females while the gender ration was 1046 and the population ratio was 57.30 .
According to the source, the general public/ electors or political party representatives may inspect or verify the final photo electoral rolls at the office of the EROs/ AEROs and at the Booth Level Officers (BLOs) .
They may also visit the website of the Chief Electoral Officer, Manipur, at www.ceomanipur.nic.in.
The source also mentioned that a copy of the final electoral rolls of each Assembly Constituencies as well as a CD ROM copy will be made available free of cost to the National and State political parties.
Additional copies can be purchased at the rate of Rs 2 per page.
Interested parties can also purchase the CD ROM from the CEO's office, Lamphel, at the rate of Rs 300 per CD, it added.
