Distribution of relief items, medicines continues

Imphal, August 03 2021:
Organisations and individuals are continuing to extend relief items to Covid-19 affected people, Covid Care Centres (CCCs), Community Home Isolation Centres (CHICs), Covid Task Forces, local clubs and meira paibi organisations.
JCI Imphal Iconics sponsored by Nestle India donated 4000 sanitizer bottles along with 7000 N95 masks to Manipur Police Department as part of their CSR project.
In a release, PRO Police Khuplen Lhouvum informed that JC Charter president Tanisha Jain along with fellow members handed over the masks and san itizer bottles to DGP LM Khaute at Police Headquarters, Imphal.
During the event, JC secretary Nidhi Jain and treasurer Manshi Jain also felicitated DGP Khaute and IGP IK Muivah.
Meanwhile, AMUCO and Youths Foundation for Fitness and Service (YOFFS) distributed immune booster medicines provided by AYUSH Department to fight Covid-19 infection to 1000 people in various areas on Tuesday.
In a release, YOFFS general secretary Kh Ramananda conveyed that the AYUSH medicines were distributed to people of Thangmeiband Hijam Dewan Leikai and Chaithabi Leirak Development Committee Cum Library Centre Khurai.
Similarly, Committee on Covid-19, Manipur (CADA, UPF, NIPCO, AMSU, UPACO and MAPI Council) in collaboration with Directorate of AYUSH distributed AYUSH-64 tablets to 1860 people along with face masks and hand sanitizers to various CCCs, CHICs, local Covid Task Forces and local clubs/meira paibi organisations.
As per a release issued by Committee media coordinator Geetchandra Mangang, the aid was distributed to Wangjing Khunou Covid-19 Task Force; Kakching and Pallel CHICs for Kakching district and to Covid Task Forces of Chandrakhong and Pitra along with Lamding CHIC for Thoubal district.
In Imphal west district, the aid was provided to Covid Task Forces of Phoubakchao Gram Panchayat, Laphupat Tera GP and Laphupat Tera Arong, while in Bishnupur district the said items were handed over to Moirang AC Covid-19 Awareness cum Enforcement Committee, Moirang Khunou Covid Control Committee, District Amateur Body Building Association, Oinam and to Bal Bhawan Khuman Lampak CCC in Imphal East district.
Meanwhile, Covid 19 2nd Wave Fighting Task Force BJP Lamlai Mandal chairman Kh Ibomcha distributed edible items to households under containment zones in Lamlai AC on Tuesday.
Lamlai Kendra Covid-19 Awareness and Enforcement Committee chairperson and Tellou Chana Seijang Zilla Parishad member A Jamini, Nongren Chingnungkok GP pradhan M Bilasini in collaboration with Nongren Development Com mittee, Task Force, ASHA and District Administration, Imphal East conducted a mass vaccination programme at Nongren Mamang Leikai community hall and at Chana community hall with the support of Chana Covid task Force.
During the programme, edibles and water were provided to clubs and Covid Tasks Forces.
