608 people administered vaccine in border villages

In all, 608 people living in periphery areas of Tengnoupal district were vaccinated against Covid-19 during the vaccination programme held from July 1 to July 3.Under the supervision of Tengnoupal district administration, Primary Health Centre Covid vaccination team commenced Covid vaccination drive in periphery village of Tengnoupal from July 1.Mass vaccination drive was also conducted in several areas of Moreh town from June 25 to June 30 in the presence of community leaders at their respective offices.
On July 1, 114 people were administered Covid vaccine at Holenphai village, which is located near Indo-Myanmar border pillar number 76 while 66 were inoculated at Moreh PHC.
Out of the total 212 people who were jabbed on July 2, 93 of them received the vaccine at Khudengthabi, 31 at ICP Moreh and 88 at PHC Moreh.
On July 3, a total of 96 people were inoculated against Covid, with 62 vaccinated in M Chanou village, 13 in Chikim village and 45 at PHC Moreh.
Moreh ADC K Jadumani Singh, Moreh I Dineshkumar Singh and PHC M/O in-charge inspected the vaccination programme.
