Neighbourhood Youth Parliament organised

Kakching, January 30 2022:
Nehru Yuva Kendra, Thoubal, DDU-GKY and Thoubal DEO jointly organised Neighbourhood Youth Parliament - Upskilling of Youth & Digital Facilitation - Bank Mitras for Thoubal Block on the occasion of Martyrs' Day, in collaboration with Popular Youth Club at Khangabok Part-III Makha Leikai on Sunday.
The programme was attended by PYC Khangabok advisory member S Budhachandra Mangang, SVEEP assistant nodal officer Ng Loyanganba and DACYP NYK member K Lokendro Singh as presidium members.
K Lokendro Singh in his welcome address highlighted the significance of NYKS, youth programmes and Martyrs' Day.
Thoubal MSLRM district co-ordinator Ng Loyanganba delivered a brief speech about skill development programmes under the central government while NYK volunteer E Ambhidash deliberated on SVEEP - ethical, informed coting and use of C-VIGIL app and 1950 voter helpline.
The programme was organised as part of Block Level Neighbourhood Youth Parliament programme under Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
After the speeches by the resource persons, the youth club leaders of Khangabok, Sangaiyumpham and Wangjing area were given the opportunity to voice their takeaways from the programme and to share their opinions on issues and problems related to youth and community development.
