COVID awareness publicity panel formed

Imphal, May 29 2021:
The state government has reconstituted Joint Committee for Public Public Awareness Covid-19 comprising representatives of the government and civil society organisations.
As per an order issued by chief secretary Dr Rajesh Kumar on Friday, CAF & PD minister Th Satyabrata Singh will be convenor of the Committee, and deputy speaker K Robindro Singh and Sekmai MLA H Dingo Singh the co-convenors.
The Committee members included CCSK president Jeetendra Ningombam, Kuki Inpi Manipur president Khaimang Chongloi, UCM president Sunil Karam, AMUCO president Ph Nando Luwang, UNC representative Ashinpou Gangmei, LIPUL president Th Somorendro, MMWO president Abdulla Phundreimayum, Zeliangrong Baudi (Assam, Manipur, Nagaland) president vice-president Titus Kamei and UCM general secretary Kh Athouba Meitei.
The Committee will facilitate general awareness amongst civil society organisations, clubs, meira paibi and the general public on measures stipulated by the competent authorities for containing the Covid-19 pandemic through effective implementation of the guidelines and SOPs in the state.
