'Govt infrastructure should be properly maintained'

Minister L Jayantakumar
Singh has appealed to the
officials and staff of the Health
Department to maintain health
infrastructures installed in
different districts of the State.
Attending a free screening
camp for renal diseases,
cardio vascular disease, hypertension
and diabetes
organised by District Health
Society, Senapati under the
sponsorship of Fortis Hospital,
Delhi at Senapati District
Hospital yesterday, L
Jayantakumar Singh said,
"We should focus on optimum
utilisation of provided
infrastructures.
We should not
forget that the Government
properties belong to us and it
should be maintained properly" .
L Jayantakumar Singh
also said that the Government
is ready to construct a
Trauma Centre and a Burn
Care Centre for Senapati district
hospital in the interest
of the people of the district.
A separate water supply
scheme for the hospital, construction
of an auditorium
hall and the procurement of
deficit medical equipments
are also on the pipe line, he
added.
He also heard the grievances
of the hospital staff
and assured to take up necessary
actions.
TD and Fisheries Minister
N Kaiyisii asserted that it
is our loss if we do not fulfil
the utility of the district hospital
and appealed to the
doctors and staff to perform
their duty with sincerity and
dedication.

Stationeries Minister Loshi
Dikho, Health Commissioner
PK Singh, Senapati Deputy
Commissioner Athem
Muivah, Health Director K
Lokendro Singh and other
officials of the Health department
were also present at the
programme.
Later, the Ministerial team
also inspected Public Health
Sub- Centres in Maram area
and construction of Nursing
College at Katomei near
Senapati Bazar.
