Three lives lost in road mishaps

Imphal,November 26, 2012:
AT LEAST three people lost their lives in road related accidents which occurred during the last 24 hours.
A truck met with an accident near Oksu and Mesi Makhong under Lamlai Police Station this morning.
One of the persons travelling in the truck who sustained injuries later succumbed.
The deceased identified as Taorem Robin - 14, s/o T Tombi of Moirangpurel Phura Makhong.
According to police report, the accident occurred due to break failure of the truck.
The injured was immediately rushed to JNIMS where he succumbed to his injuries.
In another road related accident, two persons coming on a Suzuki Access met with an accident at Langthabal Phuramakhong along Mayai Lambi at around 9:30 pm yesterday.
Both the persons lost their lives in the accident.
They have been identified as Naorem Haoba (16), s/o N Bijen and Naorem Rambo (15), s/o late N Tiken, both residents of Kakwa Naorem Leikai.
It is yet to be confirmed whether the two persons were killed in self accident or hit by another vehicle.
A case has been taken up by the Singjamei Police in this regard and post mortem of the two bodies conducted at the mortuary of RIMS.
Meanwhile, four persons sustained injuries in a head over collision between a Tata Magic and a Maruti Van at Khumbong market today.
Among the injured, one Angouba (22), s/o Kador of Lilong Arapti is reported to be in serious condition.
The injured have been admitted to RIMS for treatment.
