Seminar on 'Hepatitis (B and C) and Crimes against Women' held

A one day seminar on "Hepatitis (B and C) and Crime against Women" was held at Keishampat Konjeng Hijari Leikai Community Hall.
The seminar was jointly organized by Manipur State Legal Service Authority, Young Women Help Organization (YWHO) and Konjeng Hijari Leikai Nisha Band & Women Welfare Association (KHLNB & WWA) .
The inaugural function of the seminar was attended by S Panchapati, Advisor of YWHO; T.Bhavini, President of KHLNB & WWA and Ksh.Premkumar, President of Konjeng Hajari Leikai Development Club as Chief Guest, President and Guest of Honour respectively.
Dr.Kokildro Sr.Microbiologist, Dept of Microbiology, JNIMS; Th.Premlata, Advocate and Y.Ronel, Advocate were resource persons of the seminar.
Speaking on the occasion, President of YWHO Th.Shanti said that many youngsters in the State are using drugs because of easy availability and it has demoralized them.
Establishment of Restaurants everywhere and easy accessibility to pornographic videos have also become the cause of increasing crimes against women in the State.
On the other hand, police are not submitting chargesheet in time and letting the culprits to go scot-free.
