LPG subsidy to be put in consumer's bank account

Under the ambit of 'Pahal' scheme launched by Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, subsidy of LPG would be put in bank account of consumers.
The scheme is slated to be implemented from January 1 next year.
According to some LPG distributors, there is a provision of putting in LPG subsidy in bank account of respective consumers; therefore every consumer will need a bank account to avail the facility.
They elaborated that those consumers who have already opened bank accounts should submit their account number.
Related form should be obtained from distributor and submit to the respective distributor after filling required information.
For consumers who do not have Aadhar cards, they have to obtain Form no 4 Non-Aadhar Based LPG Subsidy Transfer Mandate Form.
After filling required information, the form should be submitted along with Xerox copy of Consumer Subscription Voucher and bank pass book.
