Imphal, October 30 2021:
Union minister of state for MSME Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma has stated BJP will return to power in the upcoming elections and continue to remain as the government for the people.
The union minister, who is on a two-day visit to Imphal, was warmly felicitated by BJP Manipur Pradesh president A Sharda at the Thambal Shanglen of BJP in Nityaipat Chuthek, after a meeting with clusters in Churachandpur district on Saturday.
Speaking at the event, Bhanu Pratap conveyed that efforts are on under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi to uplift the poor people of the country.
For these, many welfare schemes have been taken up including the facility for opening of bank accounts with zero balance and providing the required benefits.
Thus, the state BJP government will once again return to power in the 2022 assembly election, he stated, while adding that the people have been faring well under the BJP government.
Regarding his meeting with clusters in Churachandpur and Ningomthong immediately after reaching the state, the MoS said that the DPR submitted by the clusters is being assessed.
He then said that Manipur holds the top rank for providing jobs under MSME.
Despite lacking large-scale industries, the state is unsurprisingly compatible with highly profitable, small-scale industries, he remarked.
In her speech, A Sharda said that the people could finally avail the various welfare schemes (both new and old) after the BJP government came to power.
Under the leadership of CM Biren, the state government has been able to implement numerous schemes and rectify the errors in opening of zero balance bank accounts, in addition to facilitating communication between the state and the union ministers, thereby helping in the development of the state, she contended.
The function was also attended by MSME National Board member Robin Blackie, BJP Manipur Pradesh vice president N Nimbus, general secretaries Deben Premananda and secretary organisation Abhay Giri.
