from 2008 .
Right now, the scheme is covering 3369 schools and 1.7 lakh students with around 7000 workers.
These workers are discharging services on a meagre honorarium of Rs 1000 per month whereas their counterparts in other states are getting higher honorarium with some states even enhancing the honorarium amount to over Rs 10,000 .
Manipur has the lowest honorarium rate in the entire country, the memorandum pointed out.
Apart from having the lowest rate, the state government has been holding back their honorarium for 15 months.
