Anti Drug campaign organised at two districts

Imphal, April 25 2018:
All Manipur Students Union (AMSU) and Coalition Against Drugs and Alcohol (CADA) joined hands to conduct anti drug campaign today at two different areas namely Kiyam Siphai High School in Thoubal district and Paradise gardening School Chandapur, Bishnupur.
The associations took up the initiative as part of the ongoing anti drug campaign at different schools of the State under the banner, "Lets Stand Against Substance Abuse".
The campaign in Kiyam Siphai High School was attended by Maimom Kuber, Principal, N Doren, CADA vice president, A Bishona, secy gen AMSU Thoubal district as presidium members while CADA secy organisation M Budhi spoke as resource person.
Doren said that CSOs, student organisations, students and public should stand together in fighting the rapid increase of drug abuse among young students and youths while adding that everyone should consider the impact of drug in the society and the economy.
On the other hand, campaign at Paradise Gardening School was attended by Oinam Irabot, Principal, Longjam Brojen, secy library and documentation AMSU and Takhellambam ongbi Purnima, executive member CADA as presidium members and CADA gen secy Dipanjit N as resource person.
