6 fresh cases detected, 10 recover

Imphal, September 20 2022:
Government bulletins on Tuesday reported six new cases of Covid-19 from five districts out of 210 samples tested in the last 24 hours, thus, showing a positivity rate of 2.9 per cent.
The six fresh cases (4 males & 2 females) are residents of Bishnupur (1), Imphal East (1), Imphal West (2), Kakching (1) and Ukhrul (1) districts.
Tuesday also reported 10 recoveries and with this, the number of active cases has come down to 28 out of which 16 are in home isolation.
There are 36 vacant beds available in JNIMS and 62 in RIMS.
No death case was reported on Tuesday and the toll remains at 2148 including seven CAPF personnel.
So far, the virus has infected 1,39,796 individuals including 5,022 CAPF personnel.
In the last 24 hours, 244 D-type and 10 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities and 1958 vaccine doses administered which took the cumulative number of vaccinated population to 16,40,306, out of which 13,19,268 had received the second dose and 2,59,490 taken precautionary doses.
As per data maintained by The People's Chronicle based on IDSP and CCR reports, number of total cases in different districts are Imphal West (49811), Imphal East (32034), Thoubal (10293), Churachandpur (11284), Kangpokpi (3184), Tamenglong (3497), Bishnupur (9978), Senapati (2547), Ukhrul (3366), Kakching (6975), Chandel (2794), Noney (1173), Tengnoupal (1210), Jiribam (1118), Kamjong (1053), and Pherzawl (477) .
