Two cases detected with 11.1 pc TPR

Imphal, November 19 2022:
Number of active cases of Covid-19 in the state rose to 8 on Saturday, as government bulletins reported one recovery and two new positive cases from out of 18 samples tested in the last 24 hours with a test positivity rate of 11.1 per cent.
The two fresh cases are male residents of Bishnupur and Churachandpur districts.
Out of the eight active cases, four are in home isolation.
No death case was reported in the last 24 hours and the toll stands at 2149 including seven CAPF personnel.
So far, the virus has infected 1,39,908 individuals including 5,022 CAPF personnel.
In the last 24 hours, 311 vaccine doses were administered and it took the cumulative number of vaccinated people to 16,48,166, out of which 13,35,626 had received the second dose and 2,77,464 precautionary doses.
As per data maintained by The People's Chronicle based on IDSP and CCR reports, number of total cases in different districts are Imphal West (49844), Imphal East (32065), Thoubal (10298), Churachandpur (11293), Kangpokpi (3188), Tamenglong (3497), Bishnupur (9987), Senapati (2548), Ukhrul (3371), Kakching (6981), Chandel (2797), Noney (1173), Tengnoupal (1214), Jiribam (1118), Kamjong (1057), and Pherzawl (477) .
