CRPF hands over waiting shed

A passenger waiting shed was handed over today to the villagers of Nungtek by Ritu Datta, President RCWA and Randeep Datta, PMG, IGP CRPF, Manipur & Nagaland Sector.
The project was constructed under the supervision of Kalyan Singha, Commandant 86 Bn, its officers and men with the help of the villagers as a part of Civic Action Program of CRPF to create a good relationship between the villagers and security forces, said the statement released by office of the Commandant, 86 Bn .
The programme was attended by V Alah, ex-MDC; G Khumba, Village Chairman; N K Amon, Village Secretary and Jatin, Commandant 10 Assam Rifles, added the statement.
The statement added that the project was undertaken after the villagers brought up their need to CRPF and fund was approved by IGP and this will be beneficial to all the villagers who are deprived of much of the Government schemes.
