CRPF provides assistance

32 Battalion CRPF provided syllabus books and writing materials to the students of Tumjanphai Government Primary School and Leimatak English Model Junior High School on March 9.The programme was attended by H Ranjit Singh, commandant 32 Battalion CRPF; VK Singh S, 2-i/c; Seikholen Haokip, deputy commandant; Bhaskar Bhattacharya, deputy commandant and other officers and men of the battalion, said a statement issued by CRPF.
H Ranjit Singh highlighted the spirit of the Civic Action Programme (CAP) as a welfare measure for students thus bridging the gap between the forces and the civilians, besides an attempt to bring a qualitative change in the thoughts of students as well as locals, added the statement.
He added that CRPF is committed towards its social obligations and will continue to carry out similar CAP in future, added the statement.
Lunkhothang Haokip, secretary, Leimatak Area Chief Association and Jangkholun Haokip, president KSO, Leimatak block appreciated the initiatives of the 32 Battalion CRPF.
