Medical camp held

Type Writing Institute & Rural Development Service (TWIRDS) Manipur organised a free medical camp at Hiyangthang Makha Leikai community hall today.
Altogether 220 individuals including 50 people who are deaf, visually impaired and suffering from locomotor disability, mental retardation and cerebral palsy.
TWIRDS secretary Brojendro, while speaking to media persons, stated that the medical camp was conducted as part of the ongoing skill development programme.
The programme began on May 2 and was organised for the welfare of differently abled people residing in Hiyangthang, Lourembam.
TWIRDS plans to organise such programmes at other areas of the State in the near future.
Three State Health doctors , four nurses and TWIRDS treasurer H Sorata Devi along with 10 volunteers participated in the camp.
