Kangpokpi, December 07 2022: An awareness campaign on Special Summary Revision on Photo Electoral Rolls 2023 with reference to January 1, 2023 as the qualifying date was held on Tuesday at Nute Kailhang (Ima Market) of Kangpokpi district.

The awareness campaign was organised as part of the Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) campaign by the District Election Officer, Kangpokpi.

Apart from providing various facilities to the voters, the campaign mainly targeted enrolment of first-time voters.

Special Summary Revision on Photo Electoral Rolls 2023 facilitates the registration of voters in the age group 18-21 years and enrols them in the electoral roll.

It also enables the deletion, transfer of voters from one place to another and correction of information available in the electoral roll.

Later, the district election team carried out an awareness campaign in Kangpokpi town on a mobile vehicle using loudspeaker, appealing to all to enrol themselves in the electoral roll and avail required facilities.
