Many condole demise of BK Moirangcha

Several CSOs, groups and organisations from across the state expressed deep condolences over the sudden demise of JCILPS convenor Bijoykumar (BK) Moirangcha, who breathed his last on February 6 due to post Covid complications.
In separate releases, Mani-pur Peace and Integrity (MAPI) Council, Ethno Heritage Council (HERICOUN), Youths Foundation For Fitness and Service (YOFFS), Students' Union of Kangleipak (SUK), Kangleipak Ima Lup (KIL), Irabot Foundation Manipur (IFM), Protection and Preservation Committee Manipur (PPCM) and Tarahei Youth Development Organisation (TYDO) condoled demise BK Moirangcha, who was also AMESCO president and was associated with several civil societies.
The CSOs also extended solidarity to the bereaved family members and offered prayers for peaceful retreat of the departed soul in the heavenly abode.
Indian Red Cross Society Manipur State Branch also extended condolences on the demise of BK Moirangcha, who also served as convener of People Task Force on Covid-19 .
IRCS Manipur State Branch in a release said that it is extremely saddening that BK Moirangcha passed away from the very disease against which he fought seriously.
Moreover, Committee of Civil Societies Kangleipak (CCSK) and its component bodies - United All Communities Social Uplifters (UNACSU), All Manipur Youth Protection Committee (AMYPCO), Human Rights Defender Manipur (HRDM), User Connection Supportive Committee (UCSCK), Kangleipak Women Welfare Association (KWWA), Women Welfare Organisation Kangleipak (WWOK), Chingtam United Welfare Association (CHITUWA), Ningol Yaipha Lamjing Apunba Kangleipak (NYLAK) and Students Union of Kangleipak (SUK) mourned the demise of BK Moirangcha and organised a condolence meeting at its New Checkon office on Monday.
CCSK stated that the sudden demise of BK Moirangcha who had worked as president of All Manipur Ethnic Socio Cultural Organisation (AMESCO) to strengthen the ties between the people of the hills and the valley and also took monumental role in the movement to bring ILP system to safeguard the indigenous people is deeply saddening.
A two-minute silence was observed in honour of BK Moirangcha and for peaceful retreat of his soul in the heavenly abode, it added.
