MOBEDS to nominate candidates for free training

Imphal, January 05 2014:
Manipur Minorities & OBC Economic Development Society (MOBEDS), Manipur is going to nominate 100 candidates belonging to Minority Communities (Muslims, Christians, Buddhist, Parsi and Sikh) of Manipur State for undergoing training at the NIC Institute of Technology, Kolkata.
The Society has been nominated as one of the Project Implementing Agency (PIA) to conduct training under 'Seekho Aur Kamao' scheme by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi in Electrician, Wielding, Refrigeration and Plumbing trades.
Duration of the training is three months and the commencement date is January 10.A stipend of Rs 750 will be given to each candidate per month during the training period along with free fooding and lodging and admission charge.
There is also 33 percent reservation for female candidates.
A walk-in interview for selection of candidates will be held on January 7 at 11 am in the office chamber of Project Director, MOBEDS.
