Training programme held

CCpur, December 04 2017:
A five-day skill training programme on "Bokashi Piggery" under the supervision of Dr Niranjan Lal, Senior Scientist and Head of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Churachandpur concluded at its office today .
The skill training programme started from November 30 .
Dr L Babita Devi, ACTO (A/Sc) and Course Coordinator of the programme delivered lecture on the topic 'Different ingredients for preparing Indigenous Micro Organism (IMO) and its application in Bokashi' and "Health care management in Bokashi piggery” .
During the technical session, Dr W Rajen, ACTO (A/Sc), KVK Churachandpur delivered a lecture on "Pig management in Bokashi" and "Feeding management in Bokashi" .
Kamsanglian, an entrepreneur and chairman, Farmer Producer Company, Churachandpur also spoke on setting up of Bokashi unit and "Different types of IMO and its preparation" as well as "Preparation of Bamboo vinegar and its application."
Hands on demonstration cum practical on collection of IMO, preparation of both solid and liquid IMO was also demonstrated as a part of the programme .
Practical demonstration on how to set up Bokashi unit was also demonstrated at the training sessions.
