New Delhi, October 01 2014:
The Zomi Students' Federation (ZSF) Delhi Cell has congratulated and honoured the 'Queen of Boxing'- MC Mary Kom on winning the historic gold medal in Women's Boxing at the 17th Asian Games, Incheon, South Korea on Wednesday.
The ZSF said many of them jumped up in joy and jubilant after seeing in television, Manipur's daughter Mary Kom won against her opponent of Kazakhstan, Zhaina Shekerbekova.
"We are proud of Mary Kom who makes the whole of India feeling happy with her gold medal.
We wish her to attain the highest achievement in the days to come", it said.
While Mary Kom makes India shinning, we are very much disturbed by the unjust treatment meted out by L Sarita Devi in the semi final bout with South Korea favourite, Jina Park.
The biased judges favoured the Korean pulgulist, who did not performed better than Devi.
If there was no such biased attitude with the judged, Sarita Devi will surely win.
These judges boiled a controversy.
ZSF Delhi said it is not satisfied with the judges as well as the Indian officials present during the contentious fight in the ring.
ZSFDC sought the officials of Asian Games to relook into the controversial bout and find out the truth.
"We deeply consoled our sister L Sarita Devi and encouraged her not lose heart.
We pray to God for your blessings", it added.
