The teachers also protested the act of government in which the names of three Principals were notified on November 14 for the said appointment.
They stated that education which is the backbone of the society should be remained free from corruption though the association encouraged the proposal of the government to improve the administration of the colleges by recruiting these new Principals, stated the release.
The teachers association stated that earlier a number of reminders and representations along with memorandums have been given to the Education Minister and the Chief Minister of Manipur for necessary action.
However they have not been responded to till date.
The Association has declared that they will launch a series of democratic movements, if their demands are not conceded on or before November 25 .
