Manipur HC, courts celebrate Independence Day

Imphal, August 16 2021:
The 75th Independence Day celebration was held at the High Court of Manipur on Sunday.
Chief Justice of the High Court P V Sanjay Kumar hoisted the National Flag at the High Court premises with general salute and national anthem.
As a part of the celebration, the Annual Report 2020 of Manipur State Legal Services Authority was released by the chief justice in the presence of justices LS Jamir, Kh Nobin Singh (Executive Chairman, MASLSA), MV Muralidaran, A Bimol Singh, senior advocates and other dignitaries.
Manipur State Legal Services Authority (MASLSA) also celebrated the 75th Independence Day at its office premises at ADR Centre, Lamphel Court Complex, Imphal.
MASLSA member secretary Ojesh Mutum hoisted the Tricolour at 7 am followed by salute and signing of national anthem.
MASLSA deputy member secretary Sorokhaibam Sadananda, staff members and police personnel of Lamphel Court Complex attended the event.
At the same time, All Manipur Bar Association members, judicial officers and staff member of Cheirap Court Complex celebrated the day at the court complex.
District and Sessions Judge Imphal West A Guneshwar hoisted the Tricolour in the presence of District and Sessions Judge Imphal East RK Memcha and AMBA president M Nilachandra.
Personnel of 6 Manipur Rifles gave guard of honour on the occasion.
