Skill development course to Nagaland flagged off

A skill development course for 'Floriculturist Protected Cultivation' at Central Institute of Horticulture (CIH) Medziphema, Nagaland was flagged off from Department of Horticulture & Soil Conservation office in Sanjenthong today under the aegis of MIDH, Horticulture & Soil Conservation Manipur and Indian Grameen Services (IGS) Manipur.
MIDH Mission Director K Devdutta Sharma flagged off a group of 15 individuals who are taking part in the 31 days long skill development course.
Speaking at the ceremony, K Devdutta Sharma said that the course will open opportunities for farmers by improving their skill and by disseminating knowledge which in turn to help boost their income.
He maintained that around 20 trainees have attended similar skill development course in the first phase while adding that the training course will continue to organise in the near future in which more people will be sent to participate.
