Sanajaoba expires, many condole

Haobam Sanajaoba, a regular columnist of The Sangai Express (Manipuri edition) passed away at his Kyamgei Ma-mang Leikai residence at around 6.30 am today.
He is survived by his wife, two sons and four daughters.
Born on August 30, 1945, Haobam Sanajaoba was an active social worker who was associated with different organisations.
Apart from being a regular columnist, Haobam Sanajaoba served as president of the All Manipur Columnists Association, founder president of the All Manipur Manpower Uplift-ment Centre, founder presi- dent of National Research Centre, president of Lei-shang Hiden Development Committee, advisor of the Singjamei to Lilong United Clubs' Organisation and advisor of the Western All Clubs Association at different points of time .
Meanwhile many civil society organisations have condoled the demise of Haobam Sanajaoba.
AMUCO condoled the demise of Sanajaoba by observing silence for two minutes at their Kwakeithel office.
AMUCO has also conveyed solidarity to the bereaved family, friends and relatives.
The All Manipur Women's Voluntary Association (AMAWOVA), National Research Centre (NRC), Manipuri Students' Federation (MSF) and the Poirei Leimarol Meira Paibi Apunba Manipur too have condoled the demise of H Sanajaoba.
